Dr. ....

The other night at dinner hubby and I were talking to the girls about school, college, marriage, jobs, and all those other things. We were saying that when they get married their husband and they would choose what was best for the family together, and if they wanted to work then it would be okay. Our oldest daughter says she would not mind being a teacher, and I was saying that she could do 4 years and be a teacher, or she could go BIG and try for her doctorate, and she would be Dr. McClanahan, and she says, "or if I am married I will be Dr. McIntyre. Hah, my husbands jaw about hit the floor. The McIntyres have been family friends since she was a baby, and their oldest boy and our oldest girl have been friends since they were babies. So Dr. McIntyre, what do you think?

Mothers Day!!

Happy mothers day to all my mama friends. I have a good story to share, you might get a little chuckle. As you all know I just had a baby 3 weeks ago. Well a couple of days ago I took my older monkeys outside to play, and their friends and them decided to play a game of tag. Well mama decide to play and within the first 5 minutes I wiped out. Fell on my hands and knees really hard. Jarred my back and hurt myself pretty good. Well, that just goes to show what a great and wonderful mama I am, hee, hee. Because after I got hurt, stupid me kept playing. And let me just say, I have reverted. I feel like it has only been maybe a week after I had the baby all over again. UGH!!!

Hi everyone. Can you believe I am actually awake and a little bouncy at 7:00 a.m., after just 4 straight hours of sleep. It is amazing how, after 2 weeks of crazy sleep, how 4 hours can make you feel. Today I am going to get out my tae-bo, and take it easy, and work out a little. Maybe I can get into a routine. I almost had it right before I got pregnant. I just had not been doing it long enough to continue throughout the pregnancy. But I think I could do it. My oldest daughter really enjoys doing it with me, that helps. Today baby Cassie is 3 weeks old. She is getting chunkier in her face, but her legs are still very skinny. It is pretty cute. Well, babies will be waking up soon, so I will wrap this up. I will post more pics. very soon.

Introducing Cassidhe Ann.

Well, we are home, and mama is starting to feel a little normal again. Yay for that. Cassidhe was born on Thursday and it was a pretty normal delivery for me. I was actually having good contractions and needed to breathe through a lot of them towards the end. Now if you do not know that is not normal for me, I normally don't have hard contractions at all. It is kind of a surprise when the baby is ready to make it's entrance into this world. Not this time. They started potosin (spelling?) at 8:00 a.m., 10 o'clock doc came and did the water, and at 2:00 p.m. baby was here, and I called it too. The doctor asked me when I thought she would be born and I went off my last delivery, which was about 6 hours, so I was right. Wish I would have put some money on that. She was an easy delivery for the most part, and the nurses and doctor were a little more prepared this time since last time they all saw how fast I delivered. So here she is, our little Cassie.

A few updates!!!

Since my last post, it has been a while, I can totally understand when my friend told me that her blog was not the only thing being neglected during her last pregnancy. I cannot seem to get motivated for anything for the last couple of months. I seem so tired, and all I WANT to do is lay around, much to my husbands dismay. He is taking it all well, helping where he can, and when he is feeling well enough to help. Anyway, Thursday the 17th is the big day. I will go into the hospital to be induced at 8 a.m. and I am very excited!!! I am glad the day is right around the corner. The no smoking bit the dust on day 24 now I am trying to get myself back on that horse again, and it is a struggle right now too. I think the 2 days in the hospital will help, I will take my patches and take advantage that 3 of the 4 kids will not be around. Pray for my husbands sanity. He is taking 2 weeks off work, FMLA, to stay home after the baby is born. That will be good I think. He could use the break from work and hopefully being around all of us for 2 weeks won't make him too crazy. So that is the short of it. I will post pics after the baby is born so everyone can see. Until then, Ciao.

15 Days and counting.

Oh this is great, 15 days smoke free. It is a pretty neat feeling to know that I can actually do it. and the next best thing is in 15 days I will be able to say that I have not smoked in a month. That is something since I have been smoking since I was in 6th grade. Can you imagine? Dumb kid I was. Well I think this time I just might have done it. Woo - hoo.
